Trekking the green Swiss Hills

Hiking in the Hills of St. Cergue

Check the warning sign about how to deal with cattle while hiking through the pastures... despite the urge to laugh, pay special attention, it may actually come in handy... (click on photo to view larger)
Hike through the pastures & the Hills--little gates between pastures for easy trekking
Houses in the Hills of St. Cergue

Lunch at the top
A view from the top: Lake Geneva in the distance

"Laureen why won't your camera take this cute picture of you guys in the grassy meadow?" ... "Oh, I think the timer button got pushed, here hand it to me I will fix it... click.. ooops!"

Instead why don't you take this cheesy picture of me pointing at what we decided was a heart shaped rock... because those are just the sorts of things silly girls do... at any age... yeah...
How exciting, the poster really was important... this angry bull cow was caught charging some utility men out on the pastures checking the phone poles. They were mighty embarrassed to be caught by a group of girls and insisted the bull didn't like their bright yellow uniforms. The bull sure made a loud ruckus then proceeded to try to take down one of the phone poles... meanwhile I got a phone call on my mobile, someone requesting for me to come in for a job interview... guess I will have to explain why he heard a bull cow moaning in the background.

In the tiny little village of St. Cergue... apparently the most important destination in either direction, not parking, not the hospital, but the Boulangerie otherwise known as the pastry shop, go left, go right, either way you will run into a Boulangerie

And yes, even Indiana Jones is alive and well in the tiny tiny town of St. Cergue in the hills of Switzerland... congrats Clint on your role in the film... a group of 15 of us went last weekend and loved it, lots of fun! ... so proud of you!

Okay THAT is funny!!! THat is one BEEFY bull too, yikes! And about the phone men, hehe! Also the timer picture, you look like you are smiling and ready for it:p.

I love the pictures. Wish I could have walked through the pastures with you! Although I probably would have been too scared:p And if I had my kids with me I'd be totally mama bear about it and probably chicken out!:p. But that's me, an overstuffed chicken:p

Looks like a really fun hike..Nice to have you back to bloging. You like in a real pretty place. At least for a while.
What two languages was the poster in? Noticed they needed two sets of the same cartoons, one for each language. he he
